As a food reviewer, I was thoroughly impressed by the delectable dishes at Charmaine’s. The seared Sablefish and grilled steak were tender and flavorful, while the pork belly skewers and avocado toast were equally delightful. The salted date ice cream offered a unique blend of salty and sweet flavors, making it a standout dessert option.

We booked a reservation for the Sunday all-you-can-eat paella at Charmaine's, and while our arrival was a bit rocky--finding the area a little rough and waiting in the adjacent hotel lobby--the rooftop experience made it all worthwhile. We had to pay in advance with gratuity included. It was about $41 per person. Once we reached the rooftop, we were greeted with stunning views of the city, and the space was beautifully decorated. The setup for the paella was impressive, adding to the ambiance. The paella itself was delicious, featuring a nice selection of seafood, chicken, and a vegetable option. I particularly enjoyed the garlic sauce, although I wasn't a fan of it being served in a communal bowl, which felt a bit unappetizing with everyone using the same spoon. The drinks were on the pricier side, as expected for a rooftop venue, but they were enjoyable. Overall, despite some minors, the experience was great, and I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're visiting San Francisco!

Gorgeous bar in a gorgeous hotel. Make reservations!!! The cocktails are worth the hype. Carefully curated by the bartender. Chill moody environment. Great place to grab drinks with friends.

Came here for the $30 ayce paella deal they have every Sunday and it was a great experience! The amount of seafood they put in the seafood paella was very generous, and the views/vibes were so nice. The service staff was also extremely nice and attentive and we had a great time dining here. Was really debating between giving it 4 or 5 stars, but ultimately decided to give it 4 cause my standard for a 5 star review means that I would definitely go back. While I had a good time here, not sure if I would visit again due to the price tag. The $30 paella was in reality ~$42 with sf mandate tax and required 20% tip. The drinks are also pretty expensive ($20 per cocktail). And while it was a nice experience, o don't think the price tag justified the food, given that there was just 1 type of non-vegetarian food to eat for ayce. Would recommend if you've never been though!
